邓申余，画家，出生于1963年，1985年就读于鲁美大学美术专业，后又在中央美术院进修三年深得名家指导。现为一级美术师，2018年颁发“授权培训中心”授权证书，编号：02005，他的书画作品评估润格价为：国内市场价每平方尺为6000—8000元人民币，国际市场价每平方尺为700美元。作品多次在国内外展览并荣获奖励。
1990年在中央美术学院油硏班的毕业展中受到嘉奖同时原创动漫荣获国际动漫原创作品一等奖，华夏艺术风采国际选拔赛中获得绘画金奖，辉煌中国全国艺术精英赛中获得绘画金奖。很多作品曾多次在报刊画册中发表。还培养了大批的学生考入名校，成为艺术培训界的地位佼佼者，2010年在全国艺术人才教育成果展黑龙江赛区选拔活动中荣获书画类指导教师金奖。2011年在墨彩绘香港成长快乐亚洲青少年才艺大赛选拔活动中荣获书画类指导教师金奖。还获得中华少年艺术素质测评认证测评专家和金牌讲师资格。一直积极参与国家文化平台书画活动，2018年入驻《名人数据库》并参加了各大网络媒体推广展出。
邓申余是当代画坛中颇有实力的青年画家，他的作品以乡土题材为美, 展示了他对审美精神的回归，也意味着艺术语言的乡土意韵与纯朴质感的创造。他的动物系列作品以清新见长，风格靓丽而不俗，色彩艳丽而不妖艳，造型准确，画面高雅，是不可多得的精品。其猛虎作品，造型生动，线条有力，画面栩栩如生，虎虎生威。其白马作品，充分运用色彩的对比，使马的形象跃然纸上，加上生动的造型,，把马的忠诚、朴实和它龙马精神，表达得淋漓尽致。其作品厚重而又清雅的艺术风格，得到许多名家的赞许和好评。其画作最大特点是“情景交融“。画出了美丽生机的景色和安静祥和的动物，主要是抒发自己通过眼睛看到的世界是那么美好宁静，在这一幅幅画中都有美好生活的影子。在写实的物象中寄托了自己的思绪和感情，轮廓线的分明，整幅作品的效果，和由此形成的空间分割，每一笔每一线条的精心创作都使他迷恋和陶醉，创造岀一幅幅情景交融的、有意境的经典之作。他的工笔人物画，不是用浓艳华丽的色彩去夸张丰额宽颧的蒙族人物的肤色与服饰，而是以淡彩减弱蒙族肤色与服饰的厚重感，并以牧马、猎犬和荒漠的清墨色增加这种具有地域特征的工笔人物画的淡雅格调。因而，他的工笔人物画不完全是工笔重彩，也不完全是工笔淡彩，而是介于重彩和淡彩之间。在形象的塑造上，偏于写实，造型严谨，但不是完全被动的客观的实写，而是依据客观对象予以必要的简化和适度的夸张，甚至于在写实的形象中寻找内在结构的抽象意味。他的作品厚重而又清雅的艺术风格，得到许多名家的赞许和好评。他还培养了大批的学生考入名校，成为艺术培训界的地位佼佼者。
